Fall 2017:

Ending the regular season with a record of 6-1, we advanced our way to the playoffs against Cortland. With a win over Cortland, 17-13 Buffalo State Women’s Rugby are DII state champions for the second year in a row. This victory clinched a spot for the team in the round of sixteens where we faced Bryant college who we beat by the score of 25-15. This victory moved us into the elite eight of the playoffs against Vassar. Although this is where our run in the playoffs ended it was the farthest Buffalo State has advanced in the playoffs. We officially ended the season with a 10-2 record. We took the loss as a learning experience and are looking to advance deeper into the playoffs next year.
